Kick-Off Meeting at ILOT on 11-12 October 2011

The Kick-Off Meeting of the ESPOSA project was held in Warsaw on 11-12 October 2011. The hosting organization Institute of Avitaion (ILOT) provided the appropriate meeting rooms and organizational staff. The mandatory consortium management issues and EC presentations formed the first part of the meeting, followed by parallel technical sessions where the work package leaders could review the detailed project planning. The participants had a chance to see some of the ILOT facilities.

Due to great effort of Marganski- Myslowski and ILOT (thank you a lot !) participants could see the real airplanes which will be used as a flying demonstrators, namely single engine I-23 Manager and twin engine Orka aircraft. Both aircraft are in flying conditions and are prepared for the project. We believe that this display could give participants certain impetus towards proper development of technologies which will be after the
ground testing used on these flying test beds.

Talks among participants continued in informal way during the social event organized in the Muzeum Kolekcji im. Jana Pawła II. Participants had opportunity of informal meeting and pre-discussed their plans for the next meeting day.

On behalf of the ESPOSA consortium I would like to thank ILOT for the organization of this big event where more 104 attendees were present.
